Progress sync lets a book open where you stopped on another device, also in KOReader. It uses KOReader's sync server or one of your own; in a home network, that one may also use http://.
In the settings, under Progress sync, Account signs you in or creates an account, and Server sets another server. Sync automatically fetches the position when a book opens and sends it while you read, at most once a minute. Sync progress, in the reading menu under More, does it right away.
If another device is further, a question offers Go there or Stay here. Books are matched by their file, so it must be the same file on both devices.
